SparePartsKnowHow.com Announces New Addition to Training Portfolio
Melbourne, Australia, March 7th, 2019
SparePartsKnowHow.com today announced a new suite of online, instructor-led courses on spare parts management.
These courses cover the range of spare parts management issues that companies face, including:
- The Basics of Spare Parts Management
- Best Practices in Spare Parts Inventory Management
- Spare Parts Policy Development
- Spare Parts Inventory Reduction
These instructor-led courses are delivered 100% online, utilizing a combination of individual study of articles and video, and live interaction with the course instructor. This approach provides the best of both worlds, as the student can study at a time that suits them, but they also get the structure of scheduled class/tutorial times.
Direct instructor contact enables participants to clarify issues and ask questions,
adding a level of engagement not available through other online training formats.
At the launch, Phillip Slater, Founder of SparePartsKnowHow.com said, ‘Instructor-led courses add a whole other dimension to the training experience. For example, in our policy development course we will not just tell you what to do, we will coach you in how to do it, provide templates, and can even review your work in developing policies for your company. That is very powerful training!’
Another key feature is that participants get to interact with, and hear from, other participants during the online sessions. This provides a level of networking and peer-to-peer learning usually only available in formal classroom training.
‘With formal classroom training or seminars, attendees often say that the most valuable aspect of the training is hearing from other companies. We our instructor-led courses can now provide that with the convenience of online training’ Mr Slater said.
SparePartsKnowHow.com has developed a schedule of courses for the remainder of 2019 and has ensured that the timing covers all time zones.
For companies that want to train a number of employees all courses can also be scheduled for in-house delivery for individual companies.
Phillip Slater added, ‘These courses are an important development in the expansion of the SparePartsKnowHow.com training portfolio and I look forward to training an even wider cohort of people around the world.’
